What you will find here are some of my personal favorites - things that I have found "tried and true" and bring value to my everyday. Who knows? Maybe you will, too!

For instance, the Mrs. Meyers hand-soap is what I prefer to have by the kitchen sink at my vacation rental, Lakeside Maison Rouge. When designing for my guests, I wanted the house to reflect a casual Michigan lake life. The Mrs. Meyers geranium scent is used exclusively at the Grand Hotel on Mackinaw Island and has a most wonderful fragrance. It just says Michigan to me...and what I wish for those staying at Lakeside.

The Dovie pearl earrings are my "go to" everyday ear baubs. Classic and timeless, they easily move from a white t-shirt and jeans to a LBD and stilettos. I invested in a second back up pair "just in case". And, here's the disclaimer....I do receive a little bonus as a Parklane Stylist if you purchase them. :)

The Lips makeup case has replaced all others as the perfect handbag accessory. It has multiple pockets, opens up nice and wide so you can actually see what's inside, and has a wide gusset to accommodate wider items like a compact mirror or pill case. The only downfall, is that it is lined in black fabric. An improvement would be a lighter color so items stand out more when searching for things.

And, the lip brush...a true find. Affordable, functional, and saves on usage of lip color. The smallish retractable end is perfect for lining lips and the fatter end for brushing on color. Pro tip: don't throw away your lipstick once you flatten it out. With the lip brush, you can keep digging out what's down there and get the most value from your purchase!
