Just A Little Note…

One of the "little things" I like to do as a vacation rental host is leave a handwritten card in envelope for my guests. I collect a variety of designs and sizes - often from thrift shops (because I DO find fabulous in repurposing) but also at specialty boutiques that have local creations. I carefully select the one to use based upon what I know about the guest(s) arriving and the note is preferably written on the day of arrival, but never more than a day in advance. And I always use black ink.

There's something special about opening an envelope with your name penned. It's personal.  Who knows.  I may be overthinking the idea and giving myself a bit too much credit for the gesture.  But, in everything I do for Lakeside Maison Rouge, I consider how it might bring me joy as a guest.  Would I appreciate the little things?  And, I do believe finding a little note adds an element of fab and captures the welcoming spirit I long for my deserving guests.

And, it makes for a nice accompaniment to the homemade pie on the counter!

A little fab will do 'ya!

Chris
